Frosty the Snowman Cheeseball
This post brought to you by PHILADELPHIA cream cheese . All opinions are 100% mine.
‘Tis definitely the season for Christmas parties and fun get-togethers with friends and family! And I’ve got the perfect date for you to bring to your next holiday shindig. It’s my little friend Frosty the Snowman Cheeseball…
I first introduced him to you a couple of Christmases ago, but thought I’d bring him back again for some of you who might not have seen him back then.
Here’s all you need to get him ready for the party:
(2) 8 oz packages of Philadelphia cream cheese
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/4 cup of shredded mozzarrella, plus 1 cup more for rolling
Mix the cream cheese, garlic and 1/4 cup cheese together and separate into 2 balls, one slightly smaller than the other. Then, roll the two balls in the extra cup of mozzarella and stack them, using a couple of toothpicks to hold them if needed.
To make the hat, cut 2 small circles and one slighly larger circle from a piece of wheat bread using cookie cutters or jar lids or whatever you have. Toast the pieces in a toaster oven or under the broiler. Then, stack them together with a toothpick and place it on Frosty’s head. Add a carrot sliver for the nose and peppercorns for the eyes and buttons. Put him on a plate of crackers and he’s done!
This is just one of the great recipes you can make this holiday season with the always-popular PHILADELPHIA cream cheese. Visit the link to find more great recipes and meal solutions for your family. Pin your favorites to Pinterest so you can share them with your followers as well!
I’ve been bringing Frosty to parties for years now and everyone loves him. Hope you do too!
