My Mom’s New Home Tour {Part 2}
My mom and I would like to first say how much we appreciate the kind comments and well wishes many of you shared about Part 1 of her home tour via the blog and social media! Thank you all so much! If you missed Part 1, you can find that HERE, but Part 2 includes bedrooms and a bath, which are always fun spaces!
The first room is the Master bedroom, which is just simple, clean, and fresh! It’s a great example of how you can take classic pieces, add in a few trends and yet still come out with an up-to-date space that feels timeless! As with Part 1 of the home tour, I’ve linked as many pieces as I could for easy source reference… just click on the thumbnail pics for those links!
The rug and the blue striped chair are two of my favorite pieces! Both of them are so comfortable, functional, and beautiful!
And mom has two guest rooms, which will be perfect because she has so many friends and family stopping in often! I’m kinda partial to this twin bed room {which I call the cottage room} because it’s just so adorable!
Very clean and simple, yet so happy as well!
We had these door pics printed from some photos of doors we loved to add just the right pop of color to the black and white scheme.
The bench under the window is one Mom brought from her previous house, and the fringe rug is one she found around town– I think it’s perfect in here and I’ve linked a similar one below.
And I can’t help but love this lamp Mom has had for years. My dad decided to fill it with pennies years ago and I love the sentimental charm it adds to this room!
The second guest room is very serene and peaceful as well, decorated with several collected pieces from over the years…
The guest bath is situated between the two guest rooms, and it’s clean and bright with the white finishes and pop of color on the shower curtain!
We are still planning and dreaming about a few more things in this house, including her screened porch! That will be another fun space to style once Spring and Summer arrive! Thanks again for stopping by! We’d love to hear what your favorite parts of the house are!

Bed & bath, absolutely beautiful and restful looking. Love all the colors, styles, and especially the framed door and coin lamp. Can’t wait to see the porch. So happy all of you are having a fun family time shared. What a blessing for each of you.
