Spring Refresh in the Breakfast Room
I cannot believe how many years it’s been that I’ve been styling these cafe shelves in the breakfast room! This is definitely one of my favorite spaces to decorate for the seasons, but I’m a little behind this Spring. Between taking a few trips, and being busy with the kids, suddenly it’s after Easter and I just got around to switching things up in here! As usual, I mixed a little old with a little new, and came up with this…
I’m loving my new sign, and it was a fabulous deal from Hobby Lobby this week. (Find the link here.)
The lanterns and mini boxwoods were from Marshall’s and the book page platter is a project I showed you all several years ago!
At the time I made this, I thought it was going to be temporary, but no–still loving it all these years later!
All I did back then was cover a platter in aluminum foil to protect the surface, then decoupage on some pages from a book! It was the perfect piece I needed to complete the shelves.
And then I pulled out my gorgeous lemon tree my husband bought for me last year and it livened up the corner a little!
In case you missed it, I recently shared the how-to for this Magnolia Leaf Hoop Wreath here…
The small lemon pillow was a HomeGoods find, and the buffalo check table runner was the one I made last year!
These few changes totally brightened up this room for Spring and most likely, this look will stay through summer too!
Here’s my tufted settee that I get asked about so often…
