Hoop Wreath Paper Craft and Place Cards
Just when you thought I was done talking about hoop wreaths, they make an appearance once again. And this time, in a mini version especially for paper crafters!
I recently taught the girls at my Galentine’s party how to make these, and we had a lot of fun with them!
Here’s what we did…
Take a 6-inch embroidery hoop wreath, and separate it into its 2 parts. (You can make 2 wreaths out of one set.)
Then, cut several paper leaves from green construction paper. This is basically the same technique I did for making my leaf garland here.
Next, start gluing and layering the leaves in the position you choose…
After the leaves are just right, add a few embellishments if you’d like.
And for hanging, maybe add a little ribbon!
There’s no wrong way to design these, and it was cute to see how the different girls at the party designed theirs differently!
Lily hung hers on her closet door and I love it!
But, the idea struck me that these would make really cute place cards for Easter, Mother’s Day, showers, or tons of other special occasions! Just add a name tag and hang them with a ribbon on the back of a chair…
Or, lay it on top of the place setting…
Either way, the guests can take them home as a little favor after the party! So easy to make, and very inexpensive as well! I’ve put together a little supply list below for easy reference! Hope you like these as much as I do! Enjoy!
