Love the words/inspiration – this applies to any phase in life and yet using school as the metaphor. This post is a keeper and will be shared with others………..thank you!

Oh my goodness! This so timely. Being the new girl for me means sitting in my living room here all alone in deafening silence as I sent the last of my homeschooled kiddos off to high school a few minutes ago. I taught three at home through eigth grade for 20 years. What on earth do I do now? I have no idea, but I know the truths you spoke over me just now. I never planned to homeschool…like at all, but God. And oh how He blessed me through it and I know there’s a wonderful plan for whatever lies ahead too. Thanks, sister, for the beautiful reminder. Have a wonderful school year!

Bless you, friend! It is a strange feeling for sure to start a new stage of life with all the kids out of the house all day. For me, it was when my kids became more independent that I was able to start this blog! So many opportunities are open to you now & I pray you find exactly what the Lord has planned for you!!

When I use to work I would remind tenured staff what it’s like to be new in a department – scary and exciting indeed. So welcome the new hire and show him/her around the department (even though I would) and go to lunch together and that kind of thing. I know we ALL can relate to this because we all have walked through some door with people not seeing us despite us standing there and wishing someone would greet us vs ignoring……a beautiful written piece and will be shared with many friends…..thank you and have a blest day!

No telling how many people you encouraged at your job my being the person to welcome the new ones! So true that this affects us at every stage. God bless you!
