Fabulous New Guest Room Reveal
A couple weekends ago, Dave and I got to be the first guests to get to stay in my sister’s and new guest room! For weeks, she and my brother-in-law had been working on this room to finish the space for a guest suite and their hard work really paid off! Not only did they decorate a great room, but they started from scratch in an unfinished part of their basement!
Here’s what it looked like when they started…
And here’s the finished space!

It’s a super-cozy suite, with walls painted in my favorite gray (SW Silver Strand). Bedding was from Pottery Barn, sconces were a find from an outlet, and the side table is this one from Amazon.
The “Stay Awhile” pillow and the “Be Our Guest” sign are both from Hobby Lobby.
And this beautiful chest was a Craigslist find!
The guest bath is just perfect, as well, with a vintage mirror shelf, also from Pottery Barn, and these fabulous towels are favorites from Horchow.
Amy and Paul did such a fabulous job on this project, and their hard work definitely made a great space for their guests to feel comfortable in. I’m already planning my next trip! Fluff those pillows, Amy and Paul, we’ll be back soon!
Hope this inspires you to get started on that project you’ve been thinking about!

Beautiful!!! What’s the name of that Pottery Barn bedding? It’s the exact colors I’ve been searching for. I can’t find it on their site when I did a quick search just now.

It’s called the Annie Paisley Organic collection . Hopefully you can still find it on eBay or somewhere!
