My Year in Review (Plus a Giveaway for You!)
It’s been another fun year of DIY’s and snapshots of my less-than-perfect life of bliss, and I’m so glad you’ve been here to share it with me! I’ve put together a round-up of highlights from each month of 2016 as a little review! Click on the links below to re-visit the posts, and read about the surprise for you!
January: Breakfast Room Refresh
February: DIY Fireplace Screen
April: New Cushions for the Screened Porch
June: DIY Planter Irrigation System
July: Summer Style in the Kitchen
September: German Smear Mortar Wash
November: Lola’s Room Makeover
Another big change that happened this year was the roll-out of my new blog design! And once again, I’d love to thank you all for being a part of it all with me. Blogs are only fun if you have fun people to share them with! And you guys are lots of fun! I’m looking forward to more projects with you in 2017 and I hope you’ll continue to be inspired!
And to give you a little push on your own next project, I’m giving away a
$100 gift card to one of you to your choice of Home Depot, Marshall’s, or Amazon!
(*None of these companies are sponsoring. I chose them simply because these are 3 of my faves!)
To enter, just comment here, on my Instagram post, or on my Facebook post, telling me which project you liked best from this year, or what you’d like to see more of on the blog in 2017! Be sure to subscribe to my emails and follow me on Instagram and Facebook! Giveaway is open from now through the end of 2016! You may enter in each of the 3 ways, once per day. And I’ll be announcing the winner on social media on New Year’s Day! Happy 2017, friends, and good luck!

One of my favorite projects was Lola’s Room makeover from November. I loved the customization and especially the wall mural. I am usually too intimidated to do paintings on a wall myself and resort to decals ;). However I am now re-thinking that and may be daring to try it myself! Thanks for the great ideas and the giveaway.

I enjoyed all of your projects, but my favorite was April’s new cushions for the screened porch. My back porch was in need of a makeover. I found a bronze aluminum loveseat at a yard sale, cleaned it up and spray painted it black with neutral cushions like yours. It looks fantastic now and it’s thanks to your post!
