Wow God really does listen to us. I am so grateful for your comment on my blog http://www.purposefulconfusion.com/. I came over to your post right away and can't believe you had written it at the exact time I needed it. This is exactly how I feel today: soul-tired. Thank you for naming it. You are absolutely right! I am praying today and leaning on him. What great reminders of the masterpieces all over our home that were given to us by Him. SO thankful and blessed! I'm going to snap some pics of my own masterpieces right now today at a very low point for me and will post them on my blog later today. I hope you find the time to come and check them out! God Bless!

Julie thank you for your honesty and reminding us that Jesus doesn't care what our house looks like. He just wants us to have a home where he lives and is always welcomed.

This is the most beautiful and meaningful post of any home! I love that you are so "real" and share from your heart. I do think this post was meant for me ~ ๐Ÿ™‚ Just lost a dear friend yesterday and I know she's with our Lord but wow, I'm going to miss her!

    Hope you're having a blessed Sunday ~

Thank you chica! I super duper needed this today. We bought a house 2 months ago and had a laundry list of plans for it. Now reality is setting in and this weekend I hit a wall. Like I am never getting this done and the house looks like we just moved in. I work full time, have a 2 hour commute, have 3 daughters and a husband that also need my attention. Most weeknights its dinner, laundry and getting everyone to bed in one piece. So am i so very grateful for the words of encouragement and to say its okay to spend the weekend on the couch watching Lifetime movies and just not dealing with the new chandelier that needs to be hung or the new kitchen shelves that need to be stained or million other things on the list. LOVE your positive energy.Thank you for reminding me how blessed I am and not to sweat the small stuff.
