Fun post, and beautiful updates! I am going to have to check out the foil spray paint. I haven't seen that, but your lamp looks great. Thanks for sharing! Kari

My Olympic event would be binge watching House of Cards. πŸ˜‰ Gold medal, for SURE. Love the gold touches you added – especially the gold lamp with the navy stripes – so classic!

Julie you would definitely take GOLD in lamping!!!! It's amazing how a little ribbon and hot glue customizes those lampshades. You are inspiring me to do something with my boring white lamps with white lampshades that are in my master. Thanks for linking this up to Best of the Nest!

You are hilarious! I remember the silver lamp and even used your technique on one of my own back then! But, I'll admit I'm partial to the gold, and you've knocked all three of these out of the park! I've never seen the gold metallic bias tape, but now that I know…look out! Thanks so much for linking up with us at Best of the Nest!

Love how well the navy goes along with the gold base. Pinning your tip. I'm sure I'll need it in the future.
