A Hole-ly Tree and A Kissing Wise Man: It Must Be Christmas
So, I’ve been decorating my heart out for Christmas all week and loving every minute of it. It totally is the most wonderful time of the year for me. The first room I did this year was the Piano Room, complete with some new thrifty finds I’m excited to tell you about, the first of which is the tree.
Ahh, yes, the tree.
So, yes, the Lord does have a sense of humor, even when it comes to Christmas trees.
And as far as the other deals I’ve found lately…
You may have noticed I got a new coffee table which came just in time to be perfect in front of the Christmas tree. Plus, it was a fraction of the cost of similar ones I’d been eyeing. It’s actually 3 tables, so it’s triple the fun. I found it here at Overstockwhen it was on sale. AND I saved even more because I went through Ebates first. (You really need to sign up for Ebates if you haven’t yet and get your free money.)
A clearance tray from Target holds some free pine cones and a couple other sparkles…
And then there’s my luxurious faux fur throw I found at Ross for only $12.99. It’s strikingly similar to one being sold right now for $129 at one of our favorite stores (whose name I won’t mention but has the same initials as Peanut Butter. Ahhem.)
With a little pillow from the after-Christmas clearance at Kohl’s last year, and a few more simple touches, I’m happy with how it all turned out.
And it wouldn’t be Christmas without ournativity set, styled by Lola. And I’m just now noticing that one of the wise men looks like he’s blowing kisses to someone across the room. Whatever. We’ll go with it.
Much more Christmas to come–thanks for stopping by and sharing! How’s your Christmas decorating coming?

Everything looks beautiful! I love real trees and tried to hold out this year for one, but I just couldn't wait any longer to decorate this year. The garland on your mantel is so pretty and elegant, too.

Thanks, Jennifer! I've got my one real tree, but couldn't talk my husband into a second, so our faux tree is in the family room again ๐ One less thing to water!

Very pretty! I've found (with my husband's help) that we can do all kinds of great things with fishing string. It's invisible and works every time! ๐
