My “New” Round Coffee Table
We’ve got a new coffee table. Which is kind-of a misnomer since no one is allowed to drink coffee in the living room since the arrival of the Great White Sofa. But nevertheless, after several months of searching, it’s here.
So, what do you think?
I must admit it has taken a little getting used to. I do miss my DIY-ed tufted ottoman just a little.
But the gilded wreath detail on the new table has helped to ease the pain.
And I love the shelf underneath, even though I haven’tyetfigured out how I want to style it.
And I like the glass top, despite the constant need to wipe off fingerprints.
And did I mention the gold?
Yes, I think I like it.
So, here’s the before pic…
And I’ll share all the makeover details soon (update: click here for the makeover post), but I’m curious about what you think of it. Let me know!

That before picture is a little "holy ornateness overload, Batman!" You did such a great job toning it down! That gold is fabulous, too π

Thanks, Rachel! I wasn't ready to totally get rid of the ottoman yet, so it's currently in the playroom. I hope it survives in there. π

I love it! I'll take that ottoman off your hands – er, out from under your feet. Unfortunately, it prob wouldn't fit in my vehicle. Love the gold detail on the table.

You may end up with it someday. If it survives the playroom for awhile. LOL

You did a wonderful job on your coffee table. It looks beautiful in front of your white couch…which by the way I love. I'm new to your blog & I enjoy your furniture do-overs.
