Quick and Easy Easter Mantle
I totally get it. How so many of you don’t do seasonal decorating. That way there’s no dragging the stuff out of storage, trying to figure out where to put it, and then dragging it all back into storage after it’s all over. And that’s only if you actually have storage. I do get it.
But I’m one of those who does like to change it up each season. I’m not really the plastic décor/inflatable bunny on the yard kind of seasonal decorator, but I do like to challenge myself to see what I can do with what I have with maybe a new thing thrown in now and then.
And that was my plan of attack on the the piano room for Easter. (I know–I’m a little behind in showing this.)
And I’m just realizing that I totally lied about not decorating with plastic décor because I used this cute nest complete with plastic eggs I found in Target’s dollar deals section for only $3. I just put it on one of my thrifted frames backed with linen and it was done.
And Target also had these plastic speckled beauties for only $1. Lola used her apothecary styling skills to put this together for me. Rememberthe first one she did?
And then I threw out a nest on my antique silver pedestal just for good measure.
It was all done before I could say “Here comes Peter Cottontail.” I say it’s a good look for only $4. Hope you like it too!

Love it, Julie! Simple yet elegant in the room! And I love the natural feel with the bird best! I bought one and wasn't quite sure how to use… Will be trying the framed idea with things I already have!!! Thanks for sharing!

Love that frame! What a great idea! I guess I'll need to make one for my mantle. And Lola did a great job once again.
