Fairy Gingerbread Houses
There’s just something about tiny things that stirs up the imagination of children of all ages. And as Charles Dickens said, “It is good to be children sometimes, and never better than at Christmas, when its mighty Founder was a child Himself.”
So Lola and I spent some time together a few days ago building some little fairy gingerbread houses from some things we already had in the pantry and whether or not the fairies show up to live in them, we had a great time.
We used some good ol’ Golden Grahams, a little frosting and some candy sprinkles to create the perfect little imperfect works of art to put on display for Christmas…
A miniature tree and some powdered sugar snow make the scene just right.
It’s a really fun craft to do with the kids this Christmas.
So, let them make a mess…
And be creative..
And lick their fingers.
And enjoy the magic of Christmas…
Hope you enjoy this project with your little ones. Christmas is almost here! Make it merry.
