I totally feel your pain….next year my oldest goes to middle school and my {only} daughter goes off to Kinder! I'm a already a mess and it doesn't happen for another year!!! Lasagna is MY comfort food too!! Ha! Maybe that is what I'll make next August just in time for school. Hope you make it through the day unscathed tomorrow!!

This looks so yummy – going to pin it and add it to my meal list!

I hear you on the kindergarten thing. It's so tough watching our babies grow up! I have an 8th grader, 6th grader and a 1st grader, and I'm already having anxiety attacks about my oldest going to HIGH SCHOOL next year!!

Nothing cheers one up like a good pan of lasagna! I have one starting her senior year of college and the other her first year of Jr high. Enjoy my friend…it goes by fast.

I have been looking for a recipe where I don't have to cook the lasagna first. I am going to try this! Thanks.

I know how you are feeling..but it will seem more natural as time goes on and one day you will wake up and actually SMILE when they all get off to school…xo Diana

Awww I feel for you. The first day of kindergarten my oldest son stopped at his classroom door, turned and said "Mom, you don't have to come here tomorrow" Oh did I mention that I tried to walk him to the door of his bus – he said "No Mom, stay with the car", then not to be deterred I followed the bus to school, ran onto the school grounds and found him and said "Oh Jordan…I forgot to take a picture" I cried so hard when I got back to the car.

Hang in there Mama! Totally feel for you, and the lasagna was and excellent choice, chicken soup would have been the only other option 🙂 Hugs to you

    Hello,

I understand how you feel. In a couple of weeks our little baby will be in Kindergarten! Luckily, we still have two weeks with her, as our school year doesn't start until September 3rd.

Try to enjoy the time you have for yourself, because even though your baby maybe starting school, all of our babies need Momma even when they are 23 and have left the nest.

    Take care,
