Remember a couple weeks ago when I posted about your yummy Sweet Potato Fries? Well, I got to thinking…as delicious as they are, it’s really hard to eat fries without dipping them in something on the way to your lips.
I mean, obviously, you can’t eat regular fries without ketchup, so every time I picked up one of your sweet potato fries, it felt so strange not to be taking a detour into a dip before it touched my tastebuds.
So, I did a little experimenting, & I came up with a little solution that I think you’ll like. I call it Spiced Cream for Sweet Potato Fries. It’s just the simplest recipe ever. All I did was take an 8 oz. container of light sour cream and added one teaspoon of Pumpkin Pie Spice.
After mixing that together real good, I topped it off with just a sprinkle of cinnamon, and served it chilled with the hot fries.
It was a big hit with everyone, including my mother-in-law who is a tough food critic.
And of course, the kids loved it, too!
It’s the perfect companion to your scrumptious sweet potatoes. In fact, I was thinking…you may want to add it to your next recipe book.
