what is it about that place? there is something in the air there and i feel the exact same way. the moment i step through the door, an inexplicable calm washes over me….it's just a familiar place. i remember i actually used to try to go to target when i was at pcc for this very reason. it just felt more "home" to me than wal-mart did…so weird…

You and me – we go well together friend!!! Can you imagine what the Target in Chicago is like? I miss you and we would leave that weekend with a whole lot of sanity to take home đŸ˜‰ When can we go?

That is so funny. I live in a small town, so the closest Target is about 40 minutes away. I got my sanity, when the kids were younger, from just a drive in the car. I never did quite make it as far as Target, but I can see how it would be a place to pick up some sanity. I do love my time at Target. I think we love it soooo much because we feel like we are getting department store goods for great prices. And we are!

Yes, the nearest Target to me in over 90 minutes away. I always just got into the car and drove. I think they kinda of always wondered if I was coming back!?;)

I get mine at Target for sure. And Sonic. The cherry coke or the raspberry tea really helps put things in perspective. I could use a Route 44 one right about now.

That's funny! Took me back a bit. I usually find mine at thrift stores. Scouring for a treasure!

I don't blame you. If I leave in the evening I feel guilty because I work all day. It is hard to escape because work isn't it!

I love it! I actually found a new one, about 3 months ago. There is a FABULOUS tea room close to my house and I visit it, once a week ALONE. The room is full of grandma's that have "been there and done that" and I love to quietly eat my lunch and listen to them talk about the past and what they are concerned about now. Its SUCH an escape from my day to day and puts me in such a relaxed state of mind. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Tara
